This draft budget was presented at the December meeting, but I’ve put it up as a link so that anyone can access it. Please share this with as many people as possible. Lisa has the full document available and I encourage the commission heads to take a careful look at your budgets, pass these on to your committee heads and set your priorities for this year. The commission heads need to communicate these priority lists to council, preferably a week before the council budget meeting on January 20. Commission heads or a representative should plan on attending the January council meeting. Keep in mind that council has to balance all of these requests and present something to the congregation that’s acceptable. This year, lower priorities may simply not be funded. This is the devotion that we used at council and we will use it to guide us as we move forward.
